Atheist Group Trades Porn for Bibles

A University of Texas anti-religious group, Atheist Agenda, has begun a campaign to swap Christian bibles for pornography. As part of their "Smut for Smut" initiative, Atheist Agenda wants to give people an outside view of the content in the "holy books" that have a tremendous foot hold in our nation's culture.

"It is to send a message that the stuff in the bible, and the Quran, and the Torah, and all that sort of thing is, in our case worse, in our opinion worse, than pornography."

The purpose of the campaign is to promote though that is free of theological discretion. Atheist Agenda also wants the community of non-believers to have an opportunity to gather much like in a church or temple setting.

Genocide, infanticide, incest, misogyny and the sexual abuse of children are all issues prevalent in the scriptures of many world religions. The "Smut for Smut" campaign offers people a sensationalized juxtaposition of what our world views as offensive.

God or boobs? That is the question.
